Check out these limited-availability courses in Fox Valley Technical College's Flexographic Skills Series. Open to employees of Wisconsin Businesses. Students receive continuing education units.
1. Basic Flexo. Providing the basic information for employees to learn all about the production of quality flexographic printing, this course includes lectures, demonstrations, field trips and actual operation of machinery.
Cost for the Monday-Thursday 3.5-day session is just $448 (1/2 the normal price).
Choose from two timeframes, May 4-7, or August 24-27.
2. Fundamentals of Wide Web Press Operations. Students participate in mounting and/or printing of both a two-color line screen and a four-color process combination job for the flexographic printing process. Prerequisite: Basics of Flexo or one year of experience as either a plate mounter, press assistant or wide web press operator.
Cost for the Monday-Wednesday 3-day session is just $398 (1/2 the normal price).
Session is scheduled for July 13-15.
3. Fundamentals of Narrow Web Flexo Printing. This seminar provides participants with hands-on training in narrow web flexo printing. Students receive extensive information on inks, anilox rolls, plate making, plate mounting and the prepress process, along with hands-on training in plate mounting and press operation.
Cost for the Monday-Thursday 3-day session is just $398 (1/2 the normal price).
Choose from two timeframes, June 8-10, or August 24-27.
4. Fundamentals of Improved Flexo Printing & Rotary Die Cutting. Students will gain knowledge and hands-on experience in corrugated printing and die cutting producing two and three color work on FVTC's 3-color flexo rotary die cutter.
Cost for the Monday-Wednesday 3-day session is just $398 (1/2 the normal price).
Choose from two timeframes, June 22-24, or August 17-19.
